Artists of the Month - February

Saginaw Township Art in Public Places is pleased to present Allise Noble of Saginaw, Michigan, as the Artist of the Month for February.

Biography
Allise Noble is an award winning Michigan artist with a background in fine art and interior design. She teaches art to creators of all ages and abilities throughout the Great Lakes Bay region, and is especially passionate about working with artists with disabilities and mental health struggles. Noble believes in the healing power of creativity, and is blessed to see every day how creation sparks joy in both the creator and those around them. Noble believes that everyone is an artist. Each person on earth has the ability to do something creative that can touch another person, and it is never too late to begin.

Artist’s Statement
My art celebrates the natural world around us and all those who inhabit it. Living things truly are works of art in and of themselves, but often our interior landscapes are even more interesting. I believe art should show us something we cannot see in real life, and I enjoy visually exposing the unique mental environment of the subjects in my work. In each piece, I aim to begin a story that the viewer gets to finish.

Allise's exhibit will be on display at Saginaw Township Hall, located at 4980 Shattuck Road, Saginaw, Michigan, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, thru February 29, 2024.   Township Offices will be closed in observance of  Presidents' Day, February 19, 2024.
