Flood Warning

Saginaw Township and the surround area is currently under a flood warning.  

This event may be comparable to last year's flooding.  Last year the Tittabawassee river was at 26.8' on April 12th and 28.37' on April 20th.

Right now the river is predicted to be at 28.5' (major flooding level) tomorrow and hopefully recede.  The Cass River is anticipated to be at 19.7 (minor) on Tuesday. 

The Saginaw River is anticipated to be at 19.3' (Moderate flooding level) on Wednesday.

 * Flood Warning in effect until further notice for the Tittabawassee River at Midland and the Cass River at Frankenmuth.

 * Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening for the Saginaw Valley and Thumb areas.

 * Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch expected today for storm total amounts between 3 and 4 inches since Saturday.
