1991 - Present Township Manager for a large urban suburb in the Saginaw Metropolitan area, 26.5 square miles in size; Responsible for 100+ full time employees in 10 departments, plus seasonal; Council Manager form of government; Reports to the Township Board as chief administrative officer and policy implementer; Union and non-union experience; Responsible for overseeing & managing administrative operations, including human resources, fiscal services, planning & building development, general Township Hall operation, public services, public safety & emergency services, planning of capital improvements, facility development, and public relations. Population - 40,000 (2000 Census, adjusted). Saginaw Township is one of the ten largest urban townships in Michigan.
