Saginaw Charter Township Board Meeting Schedule
NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
Notice is hereby given that Saginaw Charter Township will hold a budget hearing for the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 on March 11, 2013 during its regular meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the township office meeting room, 4980 Shattuck Rd., Saginaw, Michigan.
“The Property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.”
Copies of the proposed budget are available for inspection at Zauel Memorial Library or at the Fiscal Services Department in the township office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This notice is posted in compliance with PA267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2)(3) and the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

2013 BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE AND MEETING SCHEDULE
Assessment or classification appeals may be made before the Saginaw Charter
Township Board of Review, which will meet at the Saginaw Township Hall, 4980
Shattuck Road, Saginaw, MI 48603.
Individual Board of Review appearances
are scheduled on an appointment basis only. If you wish to appeal before the
Board of Review you must schedule an appointment by calling (989) 791-9810 or
by visiting the Assessors Office on weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. Appointments will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m on March 13,
2013.
An organizational meeting of the Board of Review will be held on
Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
Valuation and classifications appeals will be heard on the following dates and
times:
Monday, March 11, 2013 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 12, 2013 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 13, 2013 - 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The tentative ratios and the estimated multipliers for each class of real property
and personal property for 2013 are as follows:
Agricultural 48.62% 1.0284

Developmental 49.96% 1.0008

The Township will provide necessary reasonable services to individuals with
disabilities at the Board of Review meetings upon 5 (five) days notice.
